Old Hill Wanderers FC
Folowing the release of the book "LOST TEAMS OF THE MIDLANDS" by X.LIBRIS PUBLISHING at the start of November 2013, the BLACK COUNTRY BUGLE newspaper ran a full page article on the book on Thursday December 12th ,from which they highlighted the Walsall Town, Rushall Rovers and Old Hill Wanderers teams. I subsequently received a phone call from a Netherton man whose father played for the OHW in the early 1920s. At this point they had been re-formed for probably the 3rd time, and were now languishing in the 4th division of the Cradley Heath & District League of which they were winners, and also won several minor local cups. It was revealed that at this time, they were ground-sharing the Dudley Wood stadium with Cradley Heath (St.Lukes). Hopefully, we will get some conformation of their colours in due course.
