Today after much discussion, I have agreed with my publisher on the front and back covers for the book. Its just over 300 pages, and includes another 60-odd teams. Most of whom wont have been researched and written about previously. Clubs such as Blackburn Park Road, Witton, Tyne Association, Church, Bootle, Accrington, Burnley Union Star, Padiham, Newcastle East End, Bolton Olympic, Great Lever, Oswaldtwistle, Halliwell, Belfast Celtic, Eagley, Astley Bridge, Leed s City, Leek, Manchester Wanderers, Spital, Staveley, Talke Rangers, Turton, West Hartlepool, South Bank, South Shore, and over a dozen of the Sheffield clubs such as Lockwoods, Albion, Thursday Wanderers, Surrey, Attercliffe, Exchange etc, etc.

Publication will for the 1st edition be limited to 100 copies, as I cannot predict how it will sell, although from my trips to Lancashire, I found a lot of interest.

Retail price is likely to be £16-99 as production costs will be high on such a low quantity run, but it will be packed with hundreds of never before known facts, such as team colours, strange incidents, and sensational collapses overnight.

I am currently working on three small books about popular local teams, Bloxwich Strollers, Darlaston All Saints and Short Heath FC, so contact me if you have any photographs or wish to express an interest in these books.

Lost Teams Of The South is written, but will be put on the back burner until probably Easter 2017. At around 250 pages, it will feature the bios of around 50 teams from the greater London area and the South, but importantly, will complete the trilogy of books.
